Description: Lost Mine Mountain Coaster is a standout attraction among the region’s mountain coasters, distinguished by its immersive theming and thoughtfully integrated lighting design. Every lighting element was carefully curated to support the attraction’s storytelling, seamlessly blending functional illumination with themed experiential lighting to elevate the overall guest journey.

Throughout the ride, individual story scenes are brought to life through layered lighting techniques that enhance atmosphere, depth, and visual engagement. One particularly memorable scene features a saloon façade animated with dynamic color-changing light visible through the windows, evoking the lively energy of a dance hall and adding a sense of motion and excitement to the narrative experience. White and colored lighting were strategically balanced to accent architectural details, highlight scenic elements, and create visual contrast across both interior and exterior environments.

Beyond the ride experience itself, the project scope encompassed comprehensive lighting design for the building interiors, building exteriors, coaster track and themed scenes, parking lot lighting coordination with others, and the adjacent mini golf course. The result is a cohesive and immersive nighttime environment where lighting serves not only a functional role, but also as a key storytelling and placemaking element throughout the attraction.
